I've had the background for this scene prepared for so long, I've used it in illustrations ad stuff before, it's just my favourite location! I was excited for this I tell ya.
There appears to be a single sized bed off to the right, so maybe a hospital… but those stairs really aren’t handicap accessible. The CRT monitor by the desk makes me think this is a 90’s era reception area/lobby. The stained glass screams church, but the dyslexic sign suggests commercial. (Delli maybe?)
But yeah, this is a gorgeous page, and I forgot to mention it on the previous page, but Dylan’s violet tinted jacket contrasted beautifully with the background.
Could be another vision just like in that hallway but more realistic for him. If we assume the visions are not real. If they are then probably a much stronger manifestation of what is going on with his mind.
The symbol mystifies me. Like there was a cult of sorts. Hm.
Also, last time before getting to the hallway, Dylan had an interaction with the black flower as well. Here, he put it back but again, did something with the flower before this happened.
Going with the fact that this maybe is not completely real.
Actually, he found the flower after he had the incident in the infinite hallway. Here, the interactions are reversed, unless you suspect the Undertaker’s Daughter slipped one on him?
Yep! Reversed!
I do not think she slipped one on him BUT both these incidents happened after interacting with the flower. Could be a fluke since the actions were not the same but I would like to give some significance to Dylan interacting with the flowers for now...
It looks like it's probably the reception area for a children's hospital or possibly a mental hospital (less likely). The sun symbology is certainly reminiscent of Medieval symbols for the sun (just google "sun symbol medieval face" and it comes up with plenty of examples), or those used by spiritualists and herbalists who promote natural approaches to health and wellness (at least here in the USA). It seems unlikely that it has anything to do with a cult, but anything is possible.
The only wild idea that has occurred to me so far is that perhaps this is part of a repressed memory from his childhood (the place, at least) that has been altered by the agitated state of his mind to look foreboding and perhaps alert or warn him about something. Since it seems clearly established that both Jerrys are something only he can see though, it won't surprise me if he's about to have another mental sparring match with Dapper Jerry.

"It seems unlikely that it has anything to do with a cult, but anything is possible."
Yeah, that was a guess but due to reasons even if you say "spiritualist" or "herbalist" I have to say those are just cultists :/
Could be different though. Sure thing! The girl showed she has some ability or maybe just Dylan imagining things. I mean, I cannot really find a role for a cult right now.
Which brings me to...
"perhaps this is part of a repressed memory from his childhood"
Yeah. That is a good point. If I recall it, even the incident with Jerry in the past was colored blue? Although that was at night I think.
As I said, these visions could be real if we assume ghosts are fine but also just Dylan's mental state in which case I wonder what else might be his brain going crazy.

Awesome! I never picked up the skill of cross-linking because I often just want to type a comment and go by memory so it is good some of you have that skill :D

Huh… I have no idea where Dylan is.

The good thing about purple is how easily it can be modified to a war or cool colour for contrast x)

Intriguing writing, Moth!

It could be from a repressed memory, now that you mention it. The Hospital Flashback, The Corey Flashback, and The Rose Flashback all involve a ton of blue. So yeah, I'm really down for your idea of a distorted agitated memory

Thank you! I usually find it hard to draw blue scenes because I dislike the colour so much :')

Can't wait to find out what this place is....right now I'm going with its just in his head.

Even then, does that mean it isn't real? ;)
