I love how kid Jerry’s drawing of the twins included mischievous eyebrows. There’s no doubt in my mind that he knows they’re rascals.
On that note, there’s a particularly suspicious drawing underneath the family portrait. I love how you foreshadow, Moth.
But, even ignoring the drawings, this page is really powerful and easily one of my favorites in quite a while. There’s a lot of pent up emotion being unleashed in Dylan confessing his absence of self worth. I’ve got depression so it was quite poignant for me.
It was also really sweet seeing Jerry not letting Dylan get lot in his confession. I really love seeing the sibling bond displayed like this. I could live with the comic being nothing but this to the end.
That said, I also can’t wait for Jerry to learn the truth and see how both brothers react.
Completely this!!
Not sure what else to add... lmao. Just that the brotherly dynamic is amazing. Never had a problem with my own bro but some of the jokes and quirks do hit on memories and I just find these two so legit, haha.
Other than the murder but that is the story here ;_;
ESPECIALLY Dylan's expression in panel 6. I honestly cannot decide if it is despair or amusement at his own stupidity or just slight instance of insanity since Dylan did regret a lot. Both sad and... creepy!
ALMOST the confession time!! Surely this is not going to be as easy as watching another flashback, right!?
Love how Dylan leads this whole page. It is like a freaking breaking point for him. Just telling Jerry the truth he could not or never wanted and kept inside boiling until he (maybe) did the unthinkable...
Makes you wonder how much Dylan actually demonized Jerry in the first place but then it is understandable Jerry thinks Dylan is still grieving his brother's death. Hm.
Yeahh dylan knows there's only so long this can go on for, and I don't hate you is probably the closest thing he can get to admitting he loves his brother
Okay, it's happening... I really don't know what to expect. Of course it's conceivable that Jerry didn't see his attacker clearly and we don't get a definite answer, but either way I'm holding my breath until Saturday.
This is at least the second time I've seen Dylan's smile-doesn't-reach-his-eyes expression, and it's just as creepy and sad now as it ever was. Especially compared to Jerry, who constantly wears his heart on his sleeves.
Oh! And! I just realised the keys are right there in the site banner! Look up, Dylan, look up! ;)

Thank you! It's one of my favourite pages too, and another one that was half made up on the fly.
none of my other projects will focus so much on just one relationship haha

I had to look twice, but now I see what you mean by foreshadowing.
And then there's the scribbled-out eyes again!

Kind of weird to think there's duplicates of everything he's wearing in the living world :p

This whole page is the best so far in my humble opinion. I love every single thing about it. And panel 6... That expression is great.
Moth
Thank you!
you get two different expressions if you cover the top and bottom half of his face there, huh?

Humm Jerry was drunk and then concussed so there's a chance. But how lucky can Dylan get ;)

Oh man....is he about to discover the truth? D: And Dylan was about to actually say something nice and heartfelt!
Moth
'Jerry, I don't hate you' is the nicest thing he's ever said ;D

Ha, the sun is in the drawings.
