Agreed. We might get a real picture of who Suit Jerry is as well since Dylan finally admitted to what Suit Jerry pressured him into.
Also... I do not believe it much but my guess is that Jerry is going to handle this calmly and maybe even understand it somewhat since now is the time to finally settle certain past differences. But... Dunno. It is definitely not like Dylan just told him something minor :/
The fifth panel hits you straight in the feels in a way that chokes your throat and rises your heartbeat and you reflexively bite your thumb. Okay, but that is what I did ;_;
How do you do it??
I... have nothing. There was still a last second chance of Jerry really going "Huh?" like I hoped with the "What?" but no. No more screwing around. He finally put it all together.
As heavy as it is. Probably for the best. Seriously.
And I think this invalidates the possibility someone else did it? In my eyes that would take away everything you built with this atmosphere so that is what I am thinking...
I look for the words that make me feel something in my stomach, you know? Cuz that's kind of how they're feeling now, like the bottom just dropped out of your stomach.
Yep, no way out for Dylan now. it's crunch time >:) Though even if somehow it wasn't him, he still spent the first chapters thinking it was and not caring -at all-
Going into Raining Knives, I always assumed that Jerry would learn about his murderer by some slip of the tongue, or piecing together all the things that don't fit about Rob murdering him. To have Dylan just confess, without the standard mystery reveal tropes, makes this scene much more… honest? vulnerable? personable? I'm having a hard time thinking of the word that best describes the mood, but you really nailed it. And… the fact that Dylan started the story as an emotionless wall and over the corse of the comic broke down… it really amplified the emotional impact here.
Thank-you so much for all your hard work over the past few years to bring us to this point.
hehe I always wanted Dylan to outright say it. Could've had Jerry see it in the vision a few pages ago but I guess this is more like Dylan admitting it to himself as well. I dunno, it just had to come from him.
Thank you very much! :> I really hope you enjoy the rest of the story!

For a split second I thought Dylan was about to try to worm his way out of it. But boy oh boy, panel 4.
Moth

Four years and a reboot and we're FInally here ;u;
It was hard not to move this scene to earlier but i needed dylan to be sufficiently... broken :}

If I were Jerry, I'd probably sit there dumbfounded and empty for a bit.
But this is Jerry. My guess is that his temper comes out, as well as his asshole side we often forget while feeling sorry for him.

Stunned silence is probably the best case scenario, but what's the worst that could happen? :}
