Thank you!! I hope the rest of the scene lives up to expectations in some way. My script gets a little vague at this point so it was written mostly at the same time as I drew it! I'm rather excited about it :D
Yup and it does feel like the final battle! I cannot say but the two are probably THE opponents of this story the outcome might decide a lot for everyone involved. Hm.
I really hope Jerry can stand against Mal and not fall into his trap. Jer's world collapsed and he needs to boost his confidence to even have a chance to remain sane. However, he may not realise it at the moment but the way he's protecting Dylan is already super brave and I'm kind of proud of him?
Btw, Moth, I love how you handle having three people with the same face in one scene and still being able to differentiate their mimicry. We can clearly see they share face features, but not personality. Excellent work!
Thank you! I took same-face to new levels when I decided to make the 3 most important characters basically the same person
I thought it would be trickier for Jerry to argue against basically himself right now. An yeah, he's got the option of noping the heck out of there but he's gonna stay in front of his brother, for now
Legitimately zoomed in on Dyl’s eyes to ascertain that he’s still with us. Thank god.
Protective Jerry is a gift and Malachy is an excellent villain. He’s so wonderfully bitter. Somehow, even though they’re identical save clothing, you’ve managed to make Mal look so much...older. And his dialogue is gold. “Once more, with conviction” is a fantastic line. An entire page of prime beef, served medium rare (still pink in the middle)
Perfect! I suppose there was a time when Suit Jerry and Ghost Jerry seemed as one and represented Jerry in two ways but now the sad truth is that Dylan is the guy caught between two maybe similar guys who both made it hell to him. Still, Jerry as a brother had one job and now it is time to deliver on it. Perhaps it is not even late because funnily enough being a ghost now is the best form his brother can wish for. Somebody has to end this.
Also, I think being a ghost sucks no matter what angle you take because this world is no longer yours and you better move on as a memory but curse is something Mal is saying. I think Ghost Jerry made it quite obvious there are two sides to this as well. Dylan needs his brother. Prove it, sonny!
Jerry's gotta make that choice now! And in a way it's really less jerry vs malachy, more jerry vs his own spiteful side, which would quite like to see Dylan suffer for what he did. His history with grudge-holding is pretty bad >_>
I see. Hopefully the bros really can give it a try later though. Even as their final goodbye. Maybe a part of that depends on how responsible Jerry feels anyway. Hm.
So it's a showdown, eh? Why am I nervous that Jerry doesn't have the courage to fight this battle? Hopefully Malachy does or says something really stupid that directly attacks Jerry's character and raises ire, because then he might actually stand a chance. I might be selling Jerry short here, but so far I haven't seen anything to suggest that he is capable of actually putting his life (phsyical or ghostly) on the line for Dylan. Hopefully I'm proven wrong though and he outsnarks the Snarkmaster. :)

He's safe for the moment, all is fine
There's parts coming up where I sketched Malachy then drew suit jerry so he looks aaalmost in between, very fun >:} Mal's spotted Jerry's weakness

Gotta hope malachy says something rude about Jerry's jacket or something, that'll get him riled up. call his head wound ugly.
